There was just something about the reading and the character “development”(or lack of it) that left me with a feeling that this would not get better. The story level was more juvenile than I expected and the main character “Cal” could not have been more abrasive and snarky; I could care less for what happened..
There are times people need to laugh, fight, survive, and join groups of people who dress like pandas.These “Tales”, are some of those times.

This box set was a complete surprise when I realize it was a 9 book series. Great value and I couldn’t wait until my next days commute to continue on with story. Good characters, some humor and lots of dead!
not sure I will ever like a cast of characters as much as this series. the narrator was perfect for it.
I’ve listen to a wide selection of audiobooks across lots of genres. Some have featured disappointing narrations, many have been good listens, several have even been very impressively performed. But, there is no written work on Earth, or in space, that has been narrationally brought to life quite as completely as the Space Team series..

I believe I saw this as a pop-up ad on FB and I thought “3 for 1? Yeah- I’ll try that” and now it’s literally one of my all time favorite sci-fi stories. It’s done SO well and it’s so much about the characters vs. the setting and that’s just perfect. It’s all done so..
