This was a fun, funny, stand alone story with superb narration. I definitely recommend giving this a listen
I didn’t really like the first one that much, the second one was alright and this one is pretty amazing already
Gotta love the technical necromancy explanations. Well done. And the story just keeps getting better.
Zoom from she-wolf to Caesar in ten-minute triumphs. Twenty crisp tales march Aeneas from Troy, elephants over Alps, legions to glory—all without gore, all with heart. Perfect for car seats or bedside lamps, each chapter plants Latin roots while sparking giggles and gasps. My kids now quote Scipio at breakfast; I sneak listens between emails…
This is a book of careful preparation and hiding from authorities. The world is more developed. The next book should be full out chaos. Excellent narration.
The story is a bit slow really and while there is a bit of humor, the silliness is more than I was looking for. It’s a loney-toons cartoon of a sci-Fi tale. If that’s what you’re looking for, then this is the series for you. Good luck!
I really hate sound effects. That’s a definite advantage to actually reading print. Fortunately I finished this before misplacing the last earbud of six sets, since I had to use them to avoid annoying my dogs by playing the book aloud. All that aside, this was quite an enjoyable production, and we all survived.
It makes me so sad when I finish these because I know it will be a year until the next one, and there are no other good necromancer books. 🥲
So fun to see her write with her husband and fictionalize her own experiences! Ithe relationships she develops are heartwarming — I rooted for the boyfriend! Sadly, I am not a fan of making the world of Tic-tock seem safe an innocent. — the heir-apparently savior even. It’s not. Despite being so popular, it’s obsequious..
