I wish someone had left a review saying this so that I hadn’t invested so much time and money into this series, so I’m leaving a review saying it here. The series is otherwise great, but leaving a book unfinished makes me feel cheated.

I had a very good time listening to this until the end when it didn’t have a climax. there are other issues like the characters for getting subjects that have already been discussed, but I can overlook that kind of thing. When someone just decides to end a book before the ending of the book,..
It was ok the dialogue at times was at times annoying and corny. The constant null spot comments and jokes was tiresome to hear over and over again.

There is a good story in there… it’s surrounded by a lot of flotsom. By the time I got to the 4th book I would just blow past the character stat chapters… they don’t add to the story and are redundant. but the overall story is good.

I have really liked the previous entries in the series, but this is just terrible. Battles goes on forever and it is a constant stream of ”superamazing” abilities and new discoveries each one the most fantastic ever. Really tiresome and I might have liked this when I was nine years old.Narrator does a solid job..

I applaud the author for ending the series at exactly the right time. I got all the character arcs I wanted, and everything resolved before it started getting stale. This series might not be a masterpiece to resound through the ages, but I really enjoyed reading it and I’ll probably come back to re-read it..
