Had a good story wasn’t as sexually driven like Jailbait but you could still see the characters moving towards each other romantically. I’m in for the long haul with the series!

the book was AMAZING, but the narration was so cringy….I finished it because I liked the writing, but the narrator was just wrong for this book.

Ultimately it’s about unconditional love and sacrifice. Her brother is her best friend and hero. When he murders several people at school the world turns against them. She finds love and protection and he is finally given redemption at the end.

I like the characters, especially the confident female lead and the kind male lead. The ending with the bad guy was a bit unbelievable, but I still liked it.

Thankfully I read the reviews so I knew this was coming but OMG this storyline has me in a chokehold.

The male voice for this audiobook is jarring. It’s completely off putting and doesn’t match the character one bit. He ruined it for me.

All I can wonder is where has this author been my whole life. This perfectly meshes so many of my favorite tropes. While still surprising me and constantly keeping me at my toes. the pacing is beautiful and I can’t wait to dive into the next one.
