I was engulfed in this story right from the get-go. Very well written, and the narration is perfect. I was never able to see what was coming next. And it really makes you think.

If you are looking to learn more about Abby Hoffman’s politics this isn’t the best place to start. the book is from an era where people could not look things up in their phone in a second. I would say probably 90% of this book is information that the average interested reader would have already..

I wasn’t too excited to read (via Audible) this one, but because it was a book club choice…I delved in. I was surprised to enjoy the story as much as I did. Good characters, some cringey political opinions, but overall a really good story.

This novel really brings to the reader dozens of questions and moral quandaries regarding the presence of, development of and influence of AI in our daily lives as the story unfolds around a family before, during and after a crisis.

Edge of your seat story with unbelievable twists! I did not see the crux of the story coming at all.10/10!!

This book was a good mixture of a family story and, on a deeper level, moral issues that really make one ponder. Good narration.

Great characterization, except for one character whose life looked unbalanced and made her an unlikeable, controlling person. When she insult’s Noah’s intelligence at the start, things just got worse from there.On the whole, the novel is a great concept but in execution a bit heavy-handed.

I liked how Ripley changed throughout the story.I disliked when Ripley didn’t listen the first time.
