I’m not a big fan of the narration, and this is also overdone in terms of, I don’t know, I can’t stand listening to it anymore. I want my credit back.

Good book. Fell flat in some places of the greater plot line. MMC was a little too dull and monotone most moments but overall it was a good book. Loved him essentially ridding her of her husband so he could take her for himself.

Emma Wells introduces the world to Cordelia Black, and I hope there are more of her stories to come! Fans of serial killer dramas like Dexter, will definitely be entertained by Cordelia and her monsters.

I’m hesitant to write an extensive review. Typically, when the first book meets or exceeds my “definitely worth the credit” expectations, the next installment turns out to be crap. Could not stop listening! Spice 🥵Banter Narration 👌🏻Plot! Was incredibly exciting and was entertained each chapter.

The epilogue? Why? That ruined the book for me. Should have ended with the last chapter.
