This was so beautifully tragic! I can’t help but love everything Jennifer writes! A must read!

I liked the taboo topics in the book, and most of the plot. But, I did not like the romance. It felt a little “I was groomed, so I’ll groom you.” No thanks. Beginning and end, great. Middle, not so much.

This book took me on a ROLLERCOASTER! It had my heartbreaking, put back together, then breaking and back together again ! To say I loved these characters is an understatement!!!! I don’t like stories where women are treated like shit and just accept it. No one with any self respect would tolerate this sort of treatment. I found the story unbelievable and offensive.

I found parts of the story a bit frustrating because some situations created anxiety that felt avoidable. For example, details like not ensuring the cupcakes were secure or a killer holding onto so much evidence for such a long time didn’t feel very believable. As usual, Keri Lake did not disappoint! This stand alone is the perfect read while you’re waiting for her next book in a series to be released.

I enjoy cheesy fantasy romance but this was sad and just ick. Beauty & The Beast for adults has been done before. Too many times. No imagination. An annoying mix of main characters that reek of stereotypes.

love the series so far! the voice actors are great especially Robert as I clearly know which MMC is speaking. love all the twists and turns. can’t wait for more!
