While the world building was a little more complex, this was such a fun book. This book made me FEEL. I cried, I screamed, I laughed. The story was a change from the typical fantasy setting, and I feel like it’d be a bit easier to follow if I was reading it instead of listening..
Okay,epilogue was totally unnecessary, don’t read it! I warned you! Other than that friggin fantastic book. The best “I hate everyone but you” and one of the best damaged hero with believable back story. I loved it and what a ride this was 😭😭😭I feel like a sundried tomato emotionally after this…I need to chill..

I’m into strong female leads with a little romance. I wish I would have known halfway through the story it gets gross with men having sex with each other. I’d recommend going with a different book unless that’s something you’re into.
“He has alopecia!” 🤣🤣🤣 That’s my favourite part of the entire narrative. It represents some quick thinking while in the heat of the moment. And it’s hilarious 😆 Read or listen just to get to that part.

Interesting concept; a bit predictable, but that is usually the case in both rom-coms & slasher/horror films. Suspend disbelief and settle in for a fun ride. (It won’t take long to know if this one is for you or not.) I have both the ebook and audio. I highly recommend the audiobook!
The woman was incredible!! But I could barely hear the man?? I turned the volume all the way up in my car and still could not hear a thing.
The main character is so insecure but finds out how she is special and adored by her cat….

this feels like a diary turned into a book, 5 chapters in the character is still waxing history then shows herself to be weak, really manipulated…. this character talks big in her mind, which is what the story is mostly… then she let’s everyone push her around. Not one of Peels better publishings
