Holy Crap!!! It was heart wrenching and impossible! I couldn’t continue to read and I couldn’t stop! It was painful throughout.

I guess this book make me realize I’m not a fan of the sublingual dianamic. I just couldn’t look past it regardless of circumstances. Storyline was okay. SPOILER WARNING AFTER THIS POINT: I wish June’s character would’ve had more experience. Tied to one person since birth is a bit out of the norm for me.

I loved hearing the male perspective and was consistently pleased with the mystery and surprise. You can still very much see the consistent theme of Keri’s writing style, but the story was different and kept me intrigued. A great standalone, exactly what I was looking for!
