I loved the mystery that lingered all through the story until the very end. Perfect.

Very cute and quick listen for Christmas chaos. I listened while doing laundry and was able to finish pretty quickly. Lots of quirky moments. No spice.

Ehh it’s okay. My first Keri Lake book was Nocticadia and I wanted to try other books. I wasn’t into the story line and didn’t care for the characters especially the MMC.

Hands down one of the best authors in a long time in this genre. I absolutely love the way that she tells the story. It makes you feel like you’re in a magical world. It’s just absolutely amazing.

This book took an old storyline used many times in Rom Coms but gave it a fresh new twist making it into a fun holiday listen. Narration is excellent.

Ugh. The constant bickering between the main characters was a real put off. The main female character seemed outright mean, and I wasn’t rooting for her to win. I ultimately didn’t finish because I couldn’t endure.

Didn’t like that Lucien’s voice reminded me of aunt midge talking. When he was “speaking I imagined her.

Very well written. But you will need to read all trigger warnings before reading. They should be on Keri Lake’s website. Parts of it are incredibly heart breaking, particularly if you are a loving parent. I gave the performance 4 stars because sometimes it was hard to tell when the female lead was speaking out..

Good story line that has no low points. Story builds throughout and does not disappoint
