First reading something from this author and I am a fan. I need book two now. There is so much more to unravel with each of the characters. I loved seeing the main female character start to come into her own. I instantly became invested with each of the characters. Can’t wait to continue this..
I get very affected when the female characters sound like high school cheerleaders. It makes it hard for me catch the mood and take the FMC seriously. I don’t finish a lot of audio books, and regret buying them, for this reason precisely.

Honestly this was SO LONG and for why? So more characters could be sexually abused when they were minors? Too much past sexual abuse, as in it happened to any and all characters to the point where it didn’t even affect the plot. Glorified cutting??? What even was this book. Random things thrown in that..
