I have really enjoyed all of Kelsie Rae’s books and read multiple series by her! For this particular story, I feel like there was a lot of buildup and backstory about the nephews that never really went anywhere, and wish he didn’t call her “birthday girl” 100+ times, but it was still great overall!

Keri Lake could write a how to manual on a vacuum cleaner and I would still EAT IT UP!!! If you’re looking for an under hyped, dark, delicious retelling of Beauty and the Beast, that has a little bit of everything, and is gripping from the first chapter then this is the book for you!!!..
Loved the story! However, when there are two narrators, why have the female imitate the male voices? It’s cringy and ridiculous. I will continue the series but will read instead of listen.

I loved everything really but she was a bit repetitive. That would be my only complaint. I kept saying ” you already said that!” or “yeah, we already know!” but otherwise, I loved the story.
Loved the characters and the world she created. I found the amount of sex and the amount of details to be a bit much but I’m new to this genres and perhaps it’s typical.
