I absolutely adored this book the characters, world building, and the character development. Top notch writing and narration. Will devour the next book immediately

Well written, well narrated. Invested in the story. Just don’t have to head or heart space to listen through the characters’ traumas. I supposed I should have done more research before buying.

This story is boring and makes a last second attempt at the end to keep readers interested. I read 8 hours of basically nothing to finally get some important information and at the point I could not care less.

The message was nice. I didn’t like the book. The characters were not relatable. The story line was all over the place. The narrator’s voice was annoying. It sounded like every sentence had an explanation point at the end.

I have read a couple of Beauty and the Beast retellings and was left wanting. This book is everything that I could hope for and want. I love how it mixes the original, the Disney, and mature themes. I am thankful that I’m not waiting on book 2 with the cliff hanger at the end.
