It’s just a personal ick for the age gap to be 19 & 33, but overall great plot and story.
Good background mystery

The narrators were fantastic, the story was beautiful and omg hit hard in the feels department! Totally recommend
This was a nice story in theory but hours upon hours of dialogue from brant and June as kids was just too much. There were many moments where I thought certain phrases would just not come out of a child’s mouth or mind. I also think it would of been better to read this book..
Wowsa! this blew my right out of the water. I was hooked instantly and had to hear the whole thing as fast as I could. bravo!
Holy crap was it an adventure that I will never forget. The twist and turns was along with the love of music composed through out it was amazingly orchestrated. Along with realistic situations that people have been through. I would clap in a standing ovation. Well done! The only reason I did not give all..
I liked the narrators but I wish they actually voiced their dialog instead of alternating chapters. Storyline was a little predictable but it was enjoyable.
overall, the writing wasn’t bad. the pacing in this story felt rushed at times with a lot of world building info dumps, followed by a very slow burn that I feel didn’t really burn at all. The ending wasn’t as impactful as I wanted it to be since I wasn’t totally invested. I think it’s..
Really wish they’d had the narrators duet this as the female narrator made the MMC sound a bit like an old lady which made the spicy bits really… odd 😂, but overall the story was interesting— very different from books I usually go for— and I enjoyed it.
So so emotional… grab a tissue. You’ll need it. Such beautiful writing, references. A beautiful beautiful story.
