This isn’t a book I’d recommend. It was decent, kept my attention, had some moments that made me smile but overall, just wasn’t it for me.
I don’t like when you have them read for the opposite sex. If you have female she should read the girl parts and the guy should read the guys parts.
there is absolutely no romance or relationships to speak of in this book. the main character is so full of herself ans high and mighty. this is a fight the government and down with the patriarchy book. do not recommend for romance readers
June First had me hooked at the start—with the opening chapter being fairly traumatic, although drawn out (cough cough, as is the whole book) and by the halfway point, I was whispering “please let it be June 2nd.” The two main characters dove so deep into their feelings, I think they hit the Earth’s core…..
Keri is so underrated. I went into this book blind and had never read any of her work and now I am obsessed.
This was a fun listen, with lots of great world-building woven into the ‘real’ world, ‘mythical creatures’ and some ultimate tests of faith and loyalty. Written in first-person POV. First tense. I enjoyed it & would read more from this author. Londer FMC. Attempted SA. Dragons. Aliens. Mate dreams. Magic. No choosing. Unicorns. Group scene🌶️..
Sovereign was not what I was expecting! Give lame a dark romance cowboy any day. This man! Doing anything and everything for Keira. Girl you ride that cowboy and save the horse.
I did love the story and the actors, BUT I wish they had the actual actors do their voices, instead of in the Cole chapters he’s imitating Madi which TOTALLY THROWS you off and then vice versa.
I really loved this book! I think so many people don’t expect it to be as good as it is, butThe longing and conflict is so well done.
I would have preferred duet narration rather than dual but it was a great story and the narrators did a great job
