It’s not like the first book. I was hoping for more interesting plot lines, but it was instead a lot of details about fights. I found my attention wandering, and then when I snapped back, we’d be in the middle of some fight sequence again.

This is such a unique story. Will Wight takes you to a completely new world unlike any other you’ve encountered. Travis Baldree does an incredible job of making those characters come to life. This has become one of my favorite series.
