the idea that non magical beings could win in a fight against magical was well done in this story. I enjoyed Katika’s (I’m not sure of how to spell her name, since I was listening instead of using my eyes) character and the interactions with Tane (same issue). this was an entertaining listen while driving..
Stupidly addictive story. If you want a series that gets better and better, this is the book for you. The MC starts OP but like real life, there is always someone better. I need more of these books.

This series is so much fun beginning to end. Travis Baldree is an incredible narrator all the characters are distinct and passionate. This series was clearly planned well, at no point did i feel like there were any unnecessary tangents. The author avoided common played out tropes that many authors use to fill the page..
