This is one of my favorite series and was a gateway drug into cultivation fantasy. Everything about it is great.

Not my genre. I will not kill the rating just because I like a different type of storie. Will not continue.

… yeah, you read that right. Great storytelling, but his endings are the most anti-climatic, abrupt slaps to the forehead of any author I’ve read. You’re expecting some sort of finalization and then “Nawwwh, fam. I’m tired of this book.” And it ends.

This book has a bit more structural complexity than the previous ones, and the scale is larger. It’s a testament to the author’s hard work that he pulled it off. It was fun, very fun. There are a few tricks with time that even managed to work. The bloopers had me laughing at the end…..

the book is a bit slow, but you can tell that it’s building towards something great, it’s a little annoying you have to buy the next book after the setup of the first but im still all for the story so far
