The story kept me interested all the way to the end where I wound up finishing it in 2 days while doing outside projects. the characters were well done, and storyline was very well formed and exciting. There were no parts of this book that were a boring or felt like a struggle to endure..

Easily my favorite title so far in the series. There was a lot of your typical Main Character syndrome in the book but the payoff was worth it! Watching the MC and his Contracted beasts relationship grow and seeing that character getting further developed was significant strokes of good writing especially when he delivered the..
The end of this book had me needing to continue the story! So far I love the characters and the world it takes place in is fun and interesting. It was short but totally worth it.

I was about to give up on this series and this book has convinced me to stick around for one more. I doubt I would enjoy reading the text, but Travis really brings life to the most minor character details.
