Book one starts a little slow. The names can be hard to follow, and royal manners are very verbose. It’s worth getting through it though. It’s all just world building for a 10/10 cultivation story.
Great story

I started off shaky on this series as the main character did not appear to have the qualities of a legendary martial artist in the making. But, I’m incredibly happy I stuck with the story and series to see the character growth. The Cradle series’ strength is that of character, progression, and world-building (some of..
Narration: Very good. He does some voices that kept me very engaged. Story: Good, kinda reminds me of Naruto. Characters: Solid World Building: Great
Experience was wonderful, there were moments where I was listening to the book at work and I cheered put loud for the main character or laughed at something crazy they did or said. To make it all even better, Travis Bladree is a fantastic narrator, definitely one of my top 5, if not number one…
This is my second read/listen and it’s just as good the second time through. Travis Baldree is great, as always.
The series is good, this book and the editing of it is the problem. there was no coherent story arc in the book at all. Ending was incredibly soft and unfulfilling. The biggest moment happened at the beginning and should have been the end of book 3. The more of these I read, the more..
This series starts out very good and would still have this credit to its account except it is easy to see that Mr. Wight is doing what all writers of lengthy sagas do and that is turning what should be one volume into two or three. More volumes equals more sales. I am sure I..
I love this series and decided that for my first reread of it, I would listen, rather than read, the books. A new way to experience the series, as it were.As for a discussion of the book, it is a cultivation story set in a secondary world very similar to ancient China. The series thus..
I really wanted to like this book; however, I just couldn’t get through it. Unfortunately, Unsouled just didn’t catch my attention like I was hoping. I feel like the concepts and ideas within the narrative are fantastic and grant some really great foundations for the story. However, now halfway through, there lacks a certain excitment,..
