The adventure continues with our heroes having escaped Sacred Valley and venturing forth into the wider world. Trials and tribulations, benefactors and enemies, all are to be found by our hero before the end of the book. Travis Baldree continues his masterful work as narrator and is a treat to listen to.

I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this gem. It was exactly what I needed and far exceeded my expectations. The pacing of the whole series is incredible, this book especially, and the characters feel like my own family now.

While a bit slow to start, it’s a perfect introduction to our main hero and his sidekick and an introduction to the world of Cradle. Will Wight does an excellent job of writing and Travis Baldree brings it all to life like the master he is.

I’ve listened to a lot of books quickly but I’ve never binged a series this fast.
