this series is great, and this book in particular has been the best one. It grabs you and do not let go.

So the story initially seemed interesting enough and had my attention, but I could not tolerate this narrator. He sounds like Rick Steves. I had to give up.

Narrator was good a little hard to follow in places due to new characters and locations.

I saw that the first eight books of this series were included with my Audible subscription, but wasn’t sold on the description. Then I saw a review that said something along the lines of “if you’re thinking about starting this book, do yourself a favor and just DO IT.” And holy heck, am I glad..

After devouring every last book in this series I gotta leave my review for those thinking of starting this. The first couple books are slow rollers, but they truly set the foundation for the rest of the series. This we amazing journey. I hope by the end our Main Character will reach Gold and be able to save his village.

The book didn’t get even a little interesting until the last 2 or 3 hours.

This book is very similar to a lot of good light novels. Worth Reading! I’ve not yet read the next books in the series so if that changes, I’ll change this.
