If one enjoy cultivation novels of the classic kind, this is definitely worth a listen.

This was a good start to what will hopefully be a good story. I found it difficult to follow for a while, but then I picked up and I enjoyed the story. I will purchase book two and see if it continues to be enjoyable.

As a legally blind individual I listen to a lot of audible books to get my culture vocabulary and feel like I’m reading. With this series I feel like I’m watching an epic movie franchise!

I’m torn as to whether this stacks up to previous books in the series. It was interesting at times but something out it feels flat. Like the stakes of a tournament just can’t match situations of actual life and death

Don’t let the discrimination fool you the series is great very entertaining. Worth the time to listen.

I enjoyed this series when I first found it shortly after book two came out. Since then, I’ve reread or relistened to it at least once between every book release, and I haven’t stopped finding new nuggets of foreshadowing and new hints at what’s to come in the future of the series.
