Matt Dinniman’s first couple Dungeon Crawler Carl books were fun. The first three were absolutely excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Book four started introducing some heavier elements and some character backstory that added some more depth to the characters but unfortunately started dragging the books down. Book five was good and fun in parts..

great series, great voice acting. I zipped through the first 6 books. some of these litrpg series have trouble striking a balance between the ridiculous and the serious but this one nails it.

This has been a great series so far. Surprising, intricate but easily comprehensible, often times laughing out loud with your headphones on like you’re crazy.
