good book, but it really took a while to come together. this book feels like an intro to all the characters and the next book is where the story really starts to come together.

This is a great lit rpg disguised as epic fantasy. fun story and rpg elements.

A decent story for what it is. Enjoyable if not the most original. It lays the groundwork to potentially go to very interesting places.

Infinitesimal in its romanticism. Cute, with fairly lovable characters, a mountainside picture is painted. Many a plot could have thickened. Good Job, Mr Baldree,Thank you.

This is series just gets better and better. I’m not exactly sure what sub-genre this is, but it’s amazing. We have great main characters, amazing world building, and and very unique magic system. Oh, and and story so compelling it’s like binging on Netflix. I

Bought it at a discount – ended up with the series at $5 each. Thought it was complete – should’ve done a little more research. Fun “brain candy” listens. Characters are engaging – predictable, mostly happy endings – Very Young Adult, but sometimes I just want to chill while I’m driving.
