This second book in the Tales of Talon series is a fantastic addition to the universe of Space Opera. In the tradition of deCamp, Carter, Hamilton, and others, A. A. Warren has written an entertaining story the any space opera fan will enjoy. Travis Baldree returns as narrator and with his considerable talent, adds to..
I really liked this book. At first I wasn’t sure if I would get into this as the narrator has a menacing and a little depressing tone but the story has so much energy. The narrator’s tone gave the story a looming menacing feel which added to the intensity, excitement and anticipation of what was..
I picked this book up for my boys. I couldn’t put it down. I read the entire series in a few days and felt a incomplete as the series is not complete yet, but very happy to participate in this world. Real hope and struggles, fun and fight, joy and delight. I could not have..
I could not put these books down. They were compelling and I felt engrossed in a world that is clever and intriguing and pulled me in without weighing me down. These books are fantastically written and performed, I am only sad that the series is not complete yet. I trust the author to deliver a..

Death Rites is a fun supernatural noir with Travis Baldree giving our sarcastic and grizzled lead the perfect voice. Real fun world building and glimpses at many more stories to come. Loved it!
I almost never re-listen to books, but I already want to revisit the world that Will Wight has built in Unsouled. Not only that, but I might just re-listen to all 7 of the currently released books while I wait for the next entry! I’ve never been so in love with a series.
