diamond in the rough. the worst part about binge reading a series like this is the abrupt end and scrambling to find the next book only to come up empty. still, i applaud the genius of this author. thank you for pulling my mind into you’re world.

This is a weird sequel the Mc went from being a not over powered badass that has manners in the last book and is now a whiny cowered in most of this book because of that I don’t think I will continue to read this series

You would expect some amazing action by this point in the series… and this installation delivers! Not only is the action everything it should be, but the depth of the relationships between the characters is even more than I was ready for; really elevated the final battle to a level I did not expect! so..

A fun engaging fantasy read. Fast paced, lots of action. Highly enjoyable. Well written with relatable characters. I definitely recommend this to any fantasy fan. Really enjoyed the narrator. Wonderful performance. Really brought the characters to life. -I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.-

These books have been consistently great. The narration brings the characters to life, and there are still surprises even though we are so deep in this world!

Wuxia at it’s finest! A must read for fans of such. It draws you in.

the story slows epically in this installment. if you want a story that goes nowhere this is it.

Excellent book but was hoping that it would have more details. Wish it were longer and had more fights.
