Wonderful story similar to wuxia novels but much more original (at least from the few generic ones I’ve read). Narrator has distinctive voices for all characters and performed them all very well.
This was a really nice book. It was well narrated and had a very quick pace. The world is described so nicely, plenty of detail without being over done. I am glad I purchased all the books in this series. I cannot wait to begin the second one.

I probably would enjoy reading this book but I can’t get in to the audiobook because the performer speeds though it so fast. He sounds like he is speed reading a term paper to the class so it isn’t believable and very hard to keep up. It’s sad because the story seems interesting.
