The tournament type is a bit overdone. Still enjoyable. The ending wasn’t what is expected and it’s nice for once to not just have a 2d MC.

In terms of books in this series this one is both forgettable and not. The book is pretty amazing but falls flat when it comes justifying the lack of character and arc progression in relation to what is becoming the trademark cliffhanger. Good story! I really like the cultivation and martial arts system used in the story. Mc is an underdog you cant help but root for.

The Biggest Flaw with these books, is how short each of them are. It’s painful because the story and characters are so compelling, and each books feels like only a brief glimpse into their world. It leaves you ever so slightly disappointed, and ravenously wanting more.

This is such a good read! The story is funny and clever. A lot of twists and turns that keeps you on guessing. I did not want to put it down. I’m hooked. I highly recommend it.

It just gets better and better. Rather than same same – the story continues to expand… and reflecting back at the beginning of the series – whelp – impressive.
