Review from The Flaw in All Magic →
Never slowed down. Characters are endearing and the story doesn’t seem to have a “let’s review” type lag that so many authors seem to be going to. Really enjoyed it. Already down loaded the next one.
The villain and his method were obvious from almost the very start, and it was painful to see the MC run around avoiding the obvious.
I was impressed with the detail of training and the characters progression. I was skeptical at first with many cultivation books popping up, but this one was a great one. I’m anxious for the next.
Review from A Thousand Li: The First Step: A Cultivation Novel →
this is a ‘pure’ cultivation novel. protagonist isnt overpowered, acts human, and is engaging. honestly worth picking this one up!
Very interesting characters and progress system.. i enjoyed it too much for not have a second book yet …biggest negative .. good books never long enough and no sequel
After losing his girlfriend and becoming the pale horseman Laz went on a bender and when he surfaced New Orleans was under siege. It will take all he’s got to put the town back together. Great series. Laz is like Dresden with worse luck.
I was sucked in very quickly it’s a very fast paced read and I was found the only issue being able to keep up with the names and which character was which. other than that I am looking forward to the next book.
