I have goosebumps. Matt sure knows how to tell a story. As someone who grew up playing MMORPG’s and the Diablo series this series has been unbelievably well done and I’m left blow away at how he comes up with it all. I can’t wait for the next book

It’s part of the tried and true recipe: Old story but with twist and snarky edge. Enjoyable listen.
Good story but the pace could be better tho I can wait to see what happens next tho
I liked the world building and overall conflict of being a student in a highly hierarchichal society. I would like a bit more emotional depth to the character. some slower tension in between quests and character power level ups.

love the book. My only complaint is the cover could use a change it looks like donut is doing the Nazi salute. Everything else about the book is awesome.
Interesting take on a flexible magic system and taking a persons mentality into how they cast and how that would affect how their spells would work.

So, by this point you’re in for the long game. There were some parts that made me wonder for a moment, but overall very pleased. Baldtree gives his normal excellent voice to bring everything together. Ready to move onto the next, thankful I’m behind so I don’t have to wait.
Every minute of these books has me begging for more, which now that I’m at the end of the most current book means that the craving will have to wait. I just discovered this series and absorbed all 6 books so far and I cannot wait for the next one to come out. Great characters,..
