As I’ve said with every title in this series… this one is even better than the last. I love how it expanded the universe and cast adding even more depth. This entry also has some of the funniest scenes in the series with great blind of comedy and drama. I was super hyped for this..
What a ride it has been so far! I feel like Matt really hit his stride in book 5 and 6. I will miss Carl and Donut so much. Can’t wait for the next book. This is a must read if you like literally any fantasy/scifi/LITrpg. The character arcs, story, and world building is next..

This series is the best audio book series I’ve ever listened to. Brilliant story with brilliant narrator. I absolutely love the funny bits in the middle of the seriousness.

The book continued to offer enjoyable outlandish battle sequences and zany character interactions, a hallmark of this series. However, the pacing slowed down and became somber and poignant during the section where each player faced their most traumatic revelations and fears.
