I just finished the second book and cannot say enough amazing things about how the story progresses, The characters progression is huge but makes sense, John really makes me care about not only the characters but their Cards. Wolfe’s and Shel’s decks are so different, but they compliment one another so well. I can’t wait..
The story is good, but the chewing acting was cranked to 11. I haven’t heard something so disgusting in months. Who in their right mind thinks that it would be fun to listen to that 🙁

Enjoyable enough to keep listening to, but not a attention keeper. Main Character is sort of a narcissist idiot to begin with and near the end actually start to give a damn about other people. Narrator does a Great job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline.
