I love The Correspondent. The various voices of the characters help to keep them straight and bring them to life.
Telling the life story of a person purely through their correspondence is a wonderful idea. Subtle wasn’t always likeable but she was smarty, witty, independent, and a force.
The reader of each character was absolutely on point! Thoroughly enjoyable and Highly recommend! Yes!
Piecing Sybil’s life together by her letters was a different way of reading a book. I enjoyed doing this.

My experience with this book is unreservedly positive. The life of Sybil VanAntwerp, as well as those around her, being fleshed out through the protagonist’s correspondence is an interesting format.
