I enjoyed the story… took a little time to hook me, but by part 2, I was in. I think the biggest holdup was that I found the narration to be annoying. I think I would’ve enjoyed reading this one more or maybe a different narrator.

I could not stop listening to it. The constant revelations. This book definitely got me back from my reading hump. It was great the entire time. I love when authors add every characters “ending”.

It was a beautiful book with a touching ending. Every voice actor did a wonderful job interpreting the character’s personality.

This epistolary story is a triumph. Ms. Evans wrote a moving story about an elderly, curmudgeon, woman in her 70s. The narration was a flawless presentation of a gorgeous story. I ached, laughed, cried. Sybil’s story is one of the finest examples of a life well lived that I’ve heard.

I wonder if I would have loved this book so much if I had read it with my ears. It is a beautiful story, and I loved how it was written through correspondence. It makes me want to go out and buy a fountain pen.
