Liked the story, not the narration

I enjoyed the story… took a little time to hook me, but by part 2, I was in. I think the biggest holdup was that I found the narration to be annoying. I think I would’ve enjoyed reading this one more or maybe a different narrator.

I wonder if I would have loved this book so much if I had read it with my ears. It is a beautiful story, and I loved how it was written through correspondence. It makes me want to go out and buy a fountain pen.
