performance was amazing and the story is SO WELL DONE! I miss writing letters! This book reminded me of that time when we wrote letters across the world, to express feelings, opinions, and stay in touch. Characters are fascinating and intriguing. Ending was perfect.
First, I love epistolary stories, and this was excellent. The narrators and production was superb. Interesting and dramatic and at points sad. Would recommend to everyone who loves a good storytelling.
The narration was fantastic with multiple voice actors telling the story. So many shared human experiences to explore, unique format as entire story is told through correspondence.
This book was so relatable to so many women. Adoption, divorce, death of a child, career, relationship with adult children, regrets, love. Some of the letters touched my heart so much and some made me laugh. Really well done. Thinking there will be a movie in its future.
Enjoyed her writing style and the authenticity of the characters. They each had an interesting background. The narrators were excellent! Everyone
Until one gets to know the characters, it can seem a bit slow. Yet the engaging narrations drew me in, and the rest of the story was rich and satisfying. This is one I will want to listen to again.
I wanted to get to the end so I could start another book! Geez. Hour long can you drag out the inevitable?
