I’m glad I came across this title because it turned out to be a beautiful surprise. I was able to connect with the character on many levels.
I loved the way this was written, and performed! It both gave me a rich connection with each character and allowed me to fill in the gaps with my imagination. I am finishing this book with a heart that feels more tender and pensive toward life, and more forgiving toward others.
I wanted to stop listening again and again, but then as the characters started to evolve I was sucked in depression and deeper into the most glorious warm hug whispering the gentle beauty of the hidden recesses within the human soul. I liked the different voices for each character. No direct speaking,I liked how it was in letter format.
Ending was anti-climatic, a bit disappointing. after so many stories, I expected more connection, more drama.

I couldn’t identify with main character. Slow moving at first. Didn’t care for last 11 minutes.
I identified with the story as I am adopted and never feel part of a normal family.
