This feels more like an exercise in self adulation then plot, character development, and so on. I couldn’t get past a couple hours.

Exquisite story, beautiful prose, wonderfully performed… the art of letter writing is truly the main character, and sadly may become a lost art.

Such a real human! Spoken out loud the thoughts we all have. So beautiful how she found her own way.

I was unimpressed through the first handful of “chapters” but stuck with it and I’m so glad I did. The main character, Sybil, is delightfully complicated. This read was slow to start, but picked up quickly and now I’m sad it’s over. This is a must read!

One of my favorite listens ever. What a unique device. And so beautifully narrated. I won’t forget this one for a long time.

This was a wonderful book. If I would have known the structure of how it’s written, or much about the storyline, I would have absolutely been certain I wouldn’t enjoy it.
