This was my first audiobook, and it’s going to be hard to adapt to any others. The actor readers really portrayed their characters through their voice. It was also a really lovely contemplative story. Definitely an excellent read or listen!

A book so many can relate to. Just a joy to listen to. The narrator was excellent. It made me feel as if I were right there in the same room. A pleasant reprieve from today’s chaos.

Loved everything about this book! Reviews of books I’ve read and finding new treasured ! If you read eclectically this is a great addition for future reads. Enjoy!

At first I was a bit confused because there is so many different characters it was hard to keep up but the story was great!

This is well written. It’s just a little slow. Like a meandering river. It was nice to enjoy listening to in the background. It was not life changing, but still a good read.

The writing is brilliant. The characters are all characters you want to know. The history of Sybil’s life written out in letters is fascinating, joyful, inspiring and heartbreaking. My favorite book of the year so far.

A powerful story and the impact of the written word. The protagonist’s letters create a deep and all too human story about love and loss, fragility and strengths— that reveal parts of our own thoughts and deeds and what makes us who we are.
