As a senior citizen, I really appreciated Sybil’s ability to learn, forgive, become less rigid even as she is nearing the end of her life. A lesson for everyone, regardless of age.
Even better as a listen!

As a senior citizen, I really appreciated Sybil’s ability to learn, forgive, become less rigid even as she is nearing the end of her life. A lesson for everyone, regardless of age.
Nothing at all. I enjoyed the story and the narration and how a story could be told of a lifetime through letters alone. Makes one want to write to someone
This is such a unique novel, the way it is written. It works! There is such growth in the main character. It warms my heart and brings tears to my eyes. Beautiful.
Hopefully we all make it long enough to see the winter of our lives. This was a beautiful and sweet story of forgiveness and living life to its fullest – regardless of age
I really saw no need for complete addresses in Her correspondence.Would have been enough to just hear their names.
With every correspondee, I had a picture in my mind of them. I was drawn into every aspect of Sybil’s life. I wasn’t sure I would enjoy this book at the beginning, but I am so glad I continued to listen to it. I feel like a part of Sybil’s family and friends.
I really enjoyed the writing, the story was captivating and the narration was excellent. The story was so sad for me even though I loved it.
