One of thr best books I have listen to or read in years. By the end of the book, I felt like I knew all the character like they were my own friends.

it made me have regreds in mine, iI could have done so much better, loved this book!

The letters were so descriptive with feelings felt by listeners. I enjoyed each and every letter.

Not very thrilling. Not very exciting. Not very captivating!Unlike this author to produce.I specifically did not let the character of Florence. I guess I’m just not into amateur sleuths.

The performance was remarkable. The story not so much. I found it very slow and boring in parts

The epistolary writing began to feel gimmicky mid-novel. Combining epistolary with a different narrative choice would have made it sag less in the middle and propel it forward.

What a beautiful story and so cleverly shared through correspondence. I will be thinking about this book for a long time.

I’d read many superlative reviews and was expecting more than what I got. Pros: excellent narration, overall solid enough plot, mostly held my interest and provided good company. Excellent on all fronts. Masterpiece. Not one single flaw. A must read/listen. I struggle to find books that absolutely keep my attention and this one is one I could listen to over and over again. Perfection.

Love the writing style and the characters. Looking forward to reading another book by the author.
