Loved the character development and quiet but riveting plot development. The epistolary form is so old it feels fresh!

I had forgotten just how deeply I enjoy epistolary novels. The last time I picked one up, other than the Bible, was back in the early ’90s with Griffin and Sabine and I Never Came to You in White, both unforgettable reads from my college days. There’s something special about letters in a story; it..
Exceptional narration

Letters /The lost art

Genuinely heartfelt. Raw and honest but still very hopeful. I typically don’t enjoy books written via correspondence because they often lack any real sense of setting, atmosphere, physical traits of characters, etc. However, the character development was so superb that I felt as if the protagonist was a close friend.
Outstanding

Pretentious & inauthentic
Review from The Correspondent →
I almost never write reviews but feel compelled to write something about this book because I am so disappointed with it. I was eager to read or listen to it since the premise seemed interesting and it was described as one of the best books of 2025. To me, it feels both pretentious and clichéd…
This story was such a sweet, slow burn for me. I didn’t know what to expect, but I slowly fell in love with all of the characters and was so sad when it ended. I would have listened to this for another 10 hours. I rarely give 5 stars, but this one was a favorite..
