I love the complexity of this book. I had no expectations when I began listening, but the reader did an excellent job of changing up the voices of the characters, and I was soon drawn in. I can’t say that there wasn’t some confusion, but I caught on quickly. I may go back and read..

So I found Love, Mom to be a very slow start and rather boring. In chapter 7 when the narrator said “supposably”, I rewound four times. Surely this audiobook couldn’t have gone through production with someone reading a word as “supposably”, but yes it certainly did. I just couldn’t take the book seriously after that.
