I loved how the entire story was told through letters. You felt like you were in the room with her looking over her shoulder reading what she was writing and reading herself. Good book.
A Life in Letters

I loved how the entire story was told through letters. You felt like you were in the room with her looking over her shoulder reading what she was writing and reading herself. Good book.
The individual voices of all of the “letter writers” really helped tell the story. The writer really painted pictures with her words. I loved listening to this story; it was a captivating “read”.
Very interesting presentation and sometimes confusing as to who was who. Final , got characters sorted. Addressing each corespondents was time consuming and wished for less. Overall, concept was Ok and story became very interesting.
At the very beginning, I wasn’t sure I enjoyed the concept of this book. I decided to stick with it and I’m glad I did. The story takes a while to develop and you get it all through letters written back-and-forth between the main character and all of her various contact. It made me long..
I generally do not like a cast of characters as readers. Each of these readers spoke clearly and interpreted the character expertly.
It is an absolutely beautiful story. There is something of great value in slow communication. The narration is amazing and it adds significant texture to the story.
I was looking for something uplifting. I found her to complain about everybody and everything in life.
Amazing narration of a beautiful novel. I loved the characters and couldn’t wait to find out what would happen.
