unexpected

Review from The Correspondent →

For me, letter writing has fallen out of favor. However, this book reminded me what a treasure a letter can be, to both the writer and recipient. I enjoyed following a lifetime including highs and lows we all experience. Nicely done!

Loved!

Review from The Correspondent →

I liked that this novel was different, and told through letters. I loved that it was the story of imperfect people and that relationships, good or bad, brief or lifelong, loving or messy or even someone you haven’t met in person can leave a lasting impact.

The epistolary format

Review from The Correspondent →

I enjoyed the different voices narrating each of the dynamic characters. I loved the epistolary format and how it was like putting together a puzzle. I was very invested in the story and found myself wanting Sybil to write ME a letter. I imagined what I would write her about my own life.
