This is not my usual choice in books and i was very happily pleasantly surprised. I was told many times to read it and only did so because of the robins on the cover(luv me a good cover that im drawn to) and im so happy that i did. And i will be recommending it..

Easy read, it gives Practical Magic on the beach, minus the magic. Didn’t love the narrators but they weren’t bad either.
I like it all and would recommend it to anyone. The characters were so real!

This is a lovely story with interesting characters. I did not want the story to end & long to know how these people have continued to face day to day life & its challenges. I hope Theo’s example of love for others in action has been their companion and that it will be mine too.

I started this book on a long drive and did not intend to finish it. However – stopping was inconvenient and a half hour later the hook was firmly set and I couldn’t put it down. It was unflinchingly honest in the portrayal of a grieving mother. And the intricate way that far-flung lives were connected to one another was fascinating. One of the best books I’ve read/listened to in a while.
