So clever, heartwarming and heartbreaking. This is a book you will want to read and it will stay with you. Just a wonderful book.
I can’t imagine enjoying this book half as much if I had read it. the vocalizations really make the story.
The whole story was told through letters/emails. I wasn’t sure if I would like this format but the author did a wonderful job of both telling Sybil’s story and insight into her thoughts and feelings. The narration was superb! The narrator’s voice made each character come alive. I just loved the whole book!!
How persistent Sibyl was in her correspondence with so many people. I loved her honesty and I identified closely with her as I am about her age.
Loved the story, the way it unfolded. Sybil opened her world at the old age and wasn’t afraid to go blind anymore
Loved this psychological thriller I would read another book by this author. The book started slow but ended great.
So bittersweet, fantastic story! I was hooked in the first paragraph, at the beginning I didn’t like the protagonist and I ended up loving her, I liked it that much that I am on my way to buy the paper copy as I want to read it.
I have picked this book up so many times in the past few months. I’ve seen it while Christmas shopping, while looking for a gift for a friend, and while I was thinking about what my next read would be. But finally, when it popped up on my Audible account, I thought, “YES, I will..
Liked all the different people she corresponded with and how those relationships continued past her first letter.
