From suspense to tears, it kept you listening! The narrators did a wonderful job playing the role of the book characters, too.

This is an exceptional novel. It is beautifully written and a satisfying, emotional journey. Wow!

This entire book is a reading of emails and letters. The story is slow. Not a fan.

The more I listened, the less I liked Sybil Van Antwerp. She seemed cold and self-indulgent.

This was an epic story, covering many years, yet taking place in the form of letters. from one person to many others. Then their correspondence back to her. Lovely, heartwrenching at times, well worth the listen.

Enjoyed the different voices- very well done. The story, too, is a tender, lovely tale of an older woman who must face realities she has long dismissed.

Wanted it to go on and continue to tell the lives of the rest of the characters. A wonderful, bittersweet read.

Enjoyed both the writing and the book performance! The performance was key to the story telling.

I have listened to MANY audio books and the performances can make or break even the best written word. Thea performances across the board for this beautiful story were exquisite.

I’ve listened to this book twice, I never did that before. There is so much to learn. hear, absorb. It is very well read!
