The narration is far and away the best I have ever heard. The book would have gotten a 5/5 without the virtue signaling. I know that won’t be a popular opinion but those things aren’t needed.

Absolutely loved the book and the voice actors and readers was outstanding. My favorite fiction in 2025.
I initially had difficulty listening to the repetition of the email addresses and home addresses. (Audible) In time I came to appreciate the reason for it as part of the correspondence. I do recommend this book.
It was surprising to me how much I enjoyed this narrative style. The main narrator brought so much life and visual interest to the characters – all of the narrators did an excellent job. I found myself really caring about everybody in the story and wanting the best for all of them. So often novels..
Wonderful book and especially well narrated. It exceeded my expectations. Sure to satisfy all who listen
Theodore said it all. Virginia Evans said it all. Hats off to this literary.bombshell and beautiful work.
Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this novel in the epistolary format. Virginia Evans did a brilliant job of bringing Sybil to life with all of the letters and the wonderful cast of characters. The novel takes you on a journey of laughter, regret, love and heartbreak while pondering the meaning of one’s life as we age…
I go through tons of audiobooks – this is one of the best. On a par w Jeffrey Eugenides’s Middlesex and the Time Traveler’s Wife, which while they weren’t my favorite books ever, were fantastically done audiobooks. This is a great one. I wish it hadn’t been over, not that the story wasn’t well resolved..
A very moving novel. Unusual structure. Pacing is perfect. Multiple story lines that all come together! The narration was terrific. Psyshologically astute. The beginning seemed slow but was foundational. Don’t pass this one by. ☆☆☆☆☆
