I loved this poignant story. It was a refreshing experience told from letter writing. Makes me want to buy some stationery.
Woven together so well

I loved this poignant story. It was a refreshing experience told from letter writing. Makes me want to buy some stationery.
It was an unusual way to write a book & it was hard to adjust. But in the end it is one of my favorite books!!
Loved the telling of the story of a life through years of correspondence. The love and regret, the generosity and the cruelty of a life. I hated to have it end.
I loved this book. nothing spicy and normally thats what I go for but it was just a sweet story. the background noise added to the story in the best way. if your looking for a fun story without too much stress. give this a read
This book was so unique in how it is written and how the story was formatted, it was fascinating! Really fell in love with the characters, they are relatable and the narrators did a spectacular job.

Sybil’s correspondence over the years are touching, revealing, harsh, loving. All of who she is and who she was she puts down in ink. Made me long for when I wrote letters.
Took some chapters to engage but once that happened the letters increasingly compelling and one’s life story memorizing.
This is a difficult review to write because the writing was brilliant, but it was extremely difficult to listen to. I had to stop several times due to the heaviness. It’s a book I will not forget, but had I known that it was filled with so much sadness, I would not have chosen it.
